Roll up! Roll up! To see Pan’s new shooting gallery
Monday 11th August 2014
Pan Amusements will be launching a new themed electronic shooting gallery at IAAPA 2013 - The Big Top Circus. Complete with clowns, a talking, dancing animated fire engine, bearded lady, escapologist, snake charmer and much more, this is a spectacular new gallery from the masters of fun and world leaders in electronic shooting galleries.
"We believe that the time is now right for a new theme of our trademark product," says Pan’s Paul Whittaker. "Times have been difficult but we have noticed over the last twelve months a trend for operators to return to higher value attractions and this is a real cracker."
All Pan’s experience and skill in characterisation and animated control has gone into this new gallery which boasts 22 fully programmable targets, with multi-action targets, digital sounds, attract sounds, bonus pricing, and shoot back water features. "It’s worth remembering that in the right location our galleries can pay-back in as little as six to nine months," adds Paul Whittaker.
In addition Pan has not forgotten the continuing demand for smaller attractions and will also be showing the ‘Beat the Clock’ water jet game and the ‘Sideshow’ single player shooting gallery based on an old-fashioned theme.
However the big attraction is ‘The Big Top’. The Greatest Show on Earth starts on Stand 223, don’t miss it.

Pan Amusements turns its talents to haunting visitors at Calaway Park
Monday 12th August 2013
The animation and characterisation skills of Pan Amusements are being employed in a new themed attraction at Calaway Park, Calgary. Pan, world leader in electronic shooting galleries, is using its vast experience to design and create the reception area and rooms at the Haunted Hotel attraction at one of Canada’s largest outdoor family amusement parks.
Pan has also recorded the scary soundtrack which is activated as visitors approach the various rooms of the hotel. First to be built is the reception and one of the strange rooms with even stranger guests Mirrors crack, lights flicker, an electric storm rages, eyes in a picture dart from side to side, objects spin and fly and an unknown creature watches on from the antique chimney. Finally the room guest’s fan moves away from her face and the waiter turns towards the visitor revealing skeletal remains.
Paul Adams, General Manager of Pan Amusements comments, "We are recognised worldwide for our electronic shooting galleries and their superb family play value. However we also have a reputation for using our skills to build scenery and animated figures for operators own attractions such as ghost trains, themed rides and water features. Calaway Park is a long standing customer for our galleries and immediately turned to us to transform their attraction."
"Our galleries continue to sell well but by using our basic skills in different areas we have been able to meet the needs of customers and expand our business" adds Paul Adams.

New amusements fire Pan expansion
The world's leading manufacturer of electronic shooting galleries, Pan Amusements, had an extremely successful show at London's EAG 2012. Managing Director Paul Whittaker comments, "I think it demonstrates that our recent developments in mini and midi sized shooting galleries and a new midway game, in response to worldwide trading conditions, is certainly paying off."
Pan took the unusual step not to display any of its trademark larger themed or bespoke galleries but instead focused on Sideshow - a 3-gun gallery, Professor Coggins - a 4-gun gallery and Clownin' Around - a 2 player water game. Clownin Around was also promoted on the SEGA and Crown stands - another indication of the popularity and potential of this new amusement."
Because of our reputation we still received many enquiries for our larger galleries including confirmation of the sale of an 8-gun Repair Shop which although ordered by a Turkish company is due for location in Iraq. Even so the more economically priced galleries were those that caught the eye. There is no doubt that operators are looking for versatile amusements which take up less space with a realistic outlay. Shorter payback times are also well in demand," says Paul Whittaker."
Our expansion both in the type of location served and the range of products we offer means that we have been able to build sales in times of general economic difficulty" he adds.

First ever single player shooting gallery from Pan Amusements
The worlds leading manufacturer of electronic shooting galleries, Pan Amusements, has launched its first ever single player shooting gallery.
Recently Pan has had phenomenal success with new compact 3 and 4-player galleries which appeal to amusement arcades, FECs and theme parks that are looking for economically priced attractions. One theme, Sideshow, is particularly popular and the new single gallery boasts the same theme and the same wide appeal.
Paul Whittaker, Managing Director of Pan comments, "Following the success of our 3 and 4-player galleries there is huge interest in a single player. Its a sign of the times but amazing that we have never done it before. One thing that operators can be sure of is that it is made to Pans high standards of design, electronic operation and play value."
The Sideshow single player packs nine exciting targets into a small area including spinning plates, clowns bowtie, stars, spirals and ducks. All targets have sound effects and are boosted by background music and an encourage to play hit the bullseye voice."
Our large trademark galleries which operate in venues worldwide are still very popular but we have to respond to market conditions which remain uncertain for the leisure industry" adds Paul Whittaker.
